MC Cargo company has been working in the field of international goods transportation since 2012. We organize the delivery of various categories of cargo to the countries of Europe, Baltic States and the CIS (former USSR countries). MC Cargo is a freight forwarding company with its own vehicles.

We work principally with responsible carriers, our relationships with them are guaranteed by long-term contracts. For the delivery of goods, we involve vehicles of transport companies from Ukraine and European countries. Our Polish office in Wroclaw is responsible for domestic European shipping. The Polish colleagues provide cargo consolidation and cross-docking on site.

Delivery by using our own vehicles gives us an understanding of the transportation process from the inside. It helps to organize effective shipping when we use the involved transport of the partners, avoiding mistakes, and saves our clients’ time and resources.

The average work experience of MS Cargo managers in the field of logistics is 8 years. When calculating the final freight price, we take into consideration the following:

Characteristics of cargo: its weight and volume. These specifications influence the choice of the optimal vehicle. Permitted weight, delivery conditions of the cargo are taken into account.

For example: It is necessary to deliver a machine weighing 5 tons, with overall dimensions of 2m * 2.5m * 2m (LxHxW). The client plans to deliver using a car with a cargo capacity of 5 tons. But this is impossible because a 5-ton truck has one axle and all 5 tons of cargo will press on it. Even if the carrier agrees to transport this machine, the car will not be able to pass weight and dimensional control on the border. This cargo requires a vehicle with 2 or 3 axles. Machines with a capacity of 10 tons are extremely rare in the international freight market due to their low profitability. Given this, we recommend to ship this cargo using a 20-ton truck with 3 axles. To reduce the shipping cost it is possible to transport it in the car transporting groupage cargoes

Type of cargo. These can be fluid, bulk, frozen cargo, perishable, oversized, groupage, etc. Each cargo category is provided different pricing.

For example: the cost of transportation in a refrigerator truck is about 20% higher than international transportation by a standard semi-trailer.

The route and its complexity: distance, toll roads, fuel costs in each country of transportation, ferry services, landscape features, road condition are taken into account.

Additional conditions: the need to prepare shipping documentation, agreed in advance additional days for loading/unloading or customs clearance. Seasonality should also be taken into account.

For example: Every European country provides Ukraine with a certain number of permits for trucks to cross the border. Every carrier executing international transportation in Europe must provide this permit when crossing the border. At the end of the year, the number of trucks which has these documents decreases sharply. Therefore, in the last weeks of the year the cost of transportation to popular destinations increases significantly.

When calculating the delivery time of a cargo, we take into account not only the distance and speed of a truck. We mind such conditions:

Distance;
The route difficulty and the roads condition. The movement speed on mountain roads is much lower than on ordinary roads. Therefore, 100 km in Germany, the truck drives faster than 100 km in Montenegro. Unsatisfactory condition of roads in Ukraine slows down the truck speed in comparison with the European roads;
Time for passing customs control when crossing the border;
Weather conditions;
The working schedule of a vehicle driver according to AETR. This is a European agreement that regulates the work of vehicles drivers engaged in international road transport. This is a complex document, which, among many regulations, also defines the periods of work and rest of the driver during the run. Compliance with these requirements is strictly controlled.

Every customer wants to have guarantees that his cargo will be delivered safely and undamaged. There are a number of measures aimed at fulfilling this condition:

Cars in proper technical condition are allowed to perform international transportation. The condition of the semi-trailer, its cleanliness, complete set and compliance with sanitary and hygienic norms are checked;
The driver must check the loading and securing of the load to prevent damage during transportion;
The route of the vehicle is carefully developed in terms of safety, the reliable stops for guarded trucks are obligatory. At the request of the customer, a convoy is provided to protect valuable goods during transportation;
When we provide our own transport, we apply CMR insurance to each shipment. When we provide the involved vehicle, the cargo is insured according to the forwarder’s liability insurance.

Transportation of dangerous goods. We organize the transportation of any types of cargo, which by their properties during transportation can pose a threat to the environment, human health, and spoil material values. Transportation of oversized cargo. We can be entrusted with the transportation of grain harvesting, construction, oil production and other special-purpose equipment, cars and trucks, metal structures, long lengths and other products that do not fit into the standard framework in terms of their dimensions. We will select the appropriate equipment for each order, prepare accompanying documentation and insure the cargo at the request of the customer.
Refrigerated transportation. This method of international delivery is used for products with certain requirements for the temperature regime of transportation. The equipment used for transportation has an insulated body and a refrigeration unit that can work for both cooling and heating. The well-thought-out logistics of transportation guarantees the complete preservation of products that quickly deteriorate: frozen and chilled food, medicines, flowers, etc.
Groupage cargo. Are you planning to transport small consignments? MC Cargo will help you. Our LCL shipping is much faster than postal services and will be more affordable. We form cargo in such a way that cargoes requiring the same transportation conditions are transported in one car. This service also includes loading, securing, packaging and insurance (at the request of the customer) of the goods, customs clearance.
Cross-docking in Europe. Warehouse storage according to statistics requires 20-30% of all transportation costs. Cross-docking is a process that allows you to get rid of it. Thanks to him, movement and shipment takes place without the use of storage facilities. The product can be divided into several parts, which will be more convenient for retail trade, or transported in full batch. Cross-docking not only reduces shipping costs, but also minimizes delivery times.
Customs clearance. We offer a full range of services for customs clearance of any categories of goods, we select the customs code, collect and prepare the relevant documentation, draw up a foreign economic activity contract, submit it to the customs service, control the execution process and instantly respond to unforeseen situations.
